[DE] Privacy

[DE] How we handle your data.

[DE] Plainly, and only as far as running this site and answering your enquiry requires. This page sets out what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.

[DE] Last updated 8 July 2026

[DE] Who we are

[DE] temu.swiss is operated by Temu AG, a company registered in Zurich, Switzerland. Temu AG is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

[DE] For any question about this policy or your data, write to privacy@temu.swiss.

[DE] What this policy covers

[DE] This policy covers the temu.swiss website. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (the revised FADP) and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

[DE] It does not cover other sites we link to — including Mechane (mechane.io) and the client dashboard at dashboard.temu.swiss — each of which has its own terms and privacy practices.

[DE] The data we collect

[DE] Information you give us

[DE] If you contact us through the enquiry form, we collect what you enter: your name and email address, and — if you choose to add them — your organisation and details of the problem you want to discuss, including what you have tried, what a good outcome looks like, and your timeline.

[DE] Information collected automatically

[DE] When you visit, our hosting and analytics providers process standard technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the approximate region you connect from. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data.

[DE] If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects the details you enter to make the booking.

[DE] Cookies and analytics

[DE] We keep cookies to a minimum. On your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Your choice is stored locally in your browser — not in a cookie — and you can change it at any time by clearing this site's browser storage.

[DE] Google Analytics loads only if you accept. If you decline, or make no choice, it is never loaded and sets no cookies.

[DE] Separately, we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure traffic and page performance. These are privacy-friendly, set no cookies, and do not identify you, so they run without a consent prompt.

[DE] How we use your data, and our legal basis

[DE] We use your data only for the purposes below. Under the GDPR, each rests on a legal basis:

  • [DE] To answer your enquiry and prepare for possible work together — to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • [DE] To arrange and hold a call you request — on the same pre-contractual basis.
  • [DE] To keep the site available, secure, and working — our legitimate interest in running it properly, and to meet our legal obligations.
  • [DE] To understand site usage through Google Analytics — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

[DE] Under the revised FADP we process this data on equivalent grounds. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you.

[DE] Who we share it with

[DE] We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We rely on a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • Vercel[DE] website hosting, plus cookieless analytics and performance measurement.
  • Supabase[DE] the database where enquiry submissions are stored.
  • Make[DE] routes each enquiry to Robin by email and helps screen it.
  • Google[DE] Google Analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Cal.com[DE] scheduling, if you book a call.

[DE] We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

[DE] International data transfers

[DE] Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States or the European Union. Where data leaves Switzerland or the EU, we rely on the safeguards the law provides for such transfers — including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where they apply, adequacy decisions — so your data keeps a comparable level of protection.

[DE] How long we keep your data

[DE] We keep enquiry submissions for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the conversation resumes, then delete them. Analytics data is retained for a limited period by our analytics providers under their standard settings. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).

[DE] Your rights

[DE] At any time, you can:

  • [DE] ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • [DE] correct data that is wrong or out of date;
  • [DE] ask us to delete your data;
  • [DE] ask us to restrict or stop certain processing;
  • [DE] object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • [DE] receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
  • [DE] withdraw your consent to analytics, without affecting what came before.

[DE] To exercise any of these, write to privacy@temu.swiss. We will respond within the time the law allows.

[DE] You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your local data protection authority.

[DE] Data security

[DE] We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take measures proportionate to the data we hold, which is modest.

[DE] Changes to this policy

[DE] If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date shown. We will make material changes clear. This policy was last updated on 8 July 2026.

[DE] Contact us

[DE] Questions about this policy, or about your data, are welcome. Write to privacy@temu.swiss, or use our contact page.
